Legal Framework: Republic Act No. 7722

In accordance with Republic Act No. 7722, also known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994," SPIST's internship program is designed to provide students with supervised practical training that complements their academic curriculum. This ensures that our students receive quality education that meets national standards while preparing them for professional careers.

The program adheres to CHED (Commission on Higher Education) guidelines for internship and on-the-job training, ensuring that all participating students are properly supervised, evaluated, and protected throughout their internship period.

Program Highlights:

Structured learning combining classroom instruction with on-the-job training

Allowance or compensation during training period (for qualified programs)
